A few weeks ago I wanted to do the Gazpacho ….. and was looking for a good recipe: Federica when I saw that I said to myself: this is’ mine! Who is‘ Federica? A friend blogger ….. blog Salt Sugar and Cinnamon who in his blog a section called MY RECIPES FROM COOKED …
She was kind enough to publish in his blog my own recipe ….. cooked by her that he called “onions Summer Maureen” and are therefore very happy to reciprocate by cooking her Gazpacho: and ‘delicious!
In my blog you can find it in the “recipes of friends” pick up exactly where the “main dishes” of friends! For the preparation I’ve followed all the directions of Federica minimissime with variations including: 1) in more than two tablespoons vinegar because I used apple cider vinegar, very delicate and 2) I did not use garlic ….. Federica forgive me!
Ingredients: 500 grams of ripe tomatoes, 1 small cucumber, 1 small white onion, 2 or 3 slices of dry bread, 1/2 green pepper, a pinch of salt, 7 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive olive oil.
Wash the vegetables and cut them into pieces. Soak the bread slices in water and squeeze dry well. Put all the chopped vegetables in a blender along with the squeezed bread, salt, oil and vinegar blend very well. The mixture obtained must then be passed through a sieve to deprive him of the residue of the seeds of tomatoes and cuticles. The Gazpacho eaten cold and should be left in the refrigerator for a few hours before being served!
